JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Warranty Administrator

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and, ideally, has a background in agricultural or another type of engineering.

You will be submitting claims on to warranty systems by converting information from engineers' job cards, both paper-based and digital, in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications to ensure maximum claim recovery on first submission. Utilising our dealer management system to track, manage, and attain a high recovery rate.

You will be accountable for appealing claim decisions in accordance with company policies and procedures, and you will collaborate with other employees to ensure the efficient processing of claims and inquiries.

Description

  • Using dealer management systems and Excel to operate daily activities.
  • Being flexible with daily activities and working as a team.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritise tasks.
  • Operating in line with company policy and procedures at all times.
  • Handling confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Shared responsibility for answering incoming calls and ensuring they are directed to the relevant department.
  • Providing cover to other administration roles for annual leave and sickness.
  • Being proactive in improving activities to support better recovery rates.

Experience and Attributes

  • Knowledge and understanding of IT, confidence using Microsoft Office programs to include, Word and Excel.
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail Skills
  • Ability to learn and use customer management systems (IBCOS Gold knowledge would be an advantage).
  • Ability to negotiate and make decisions.
  • Able to multitask and thrive in a busy environment.
  • Adaptability to changing workload and be flexible to suit departmental needs.
  • Self-motivated and be able to work well within a team.
  • Confidence to communicate and deal with manufacturers and staff in a professional manner face to face, on the telephone or via email.

AGRICULTURAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Essential duties will include:

  • Maintenance and repairs on site and on farm of both tractors & machinery completed to a high standard.
  • Assembly & PDI of new machines to the correct specification.
  • To be competent in fault finding on Engines, Hydraulics, & Electrical issues using the latest diagnostic equipment.
  • Prompt & correct filling in of all paperwork – time sheets, job cards & reports, etc.
  • Work alongside and communicate with customers, colleagues, manufacturers, and suppliers.
  • Undertaking relevant manufacturer training as & when required – giving you the opportunity to develop your skills & knowledge of the latest products & services on the market.

Key attributes:

  • Experience of working on Agricultural Machinery and Equipment – Tractors, Sprayers, Drills/Cultivation and Driers
  • Skilled & knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems
  • Professional, proactive & organised
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Full UK driving licence

The package:

Salary & benefits will reflect the ability & experience of the successful applicant & will be agreed by negotiation.
